Familiars
Regarding my current production of 'Familiars, I like the idea of reconciliation. It is within my daily reconciliatory work that I can either prevent or allow acknowledgments of some experiences that are beyond my normal understanding.
My current ceramics involve only a few visual elements. The incongruity of surface, shape and pattern may persuade the viewer to reconcile these objects as the expression of an active element of art and of craft, which is synchronicity of material, function, and convention.
